Present in Côte d’Ivoire since 2011 following the transition of UNIFEM, UN Women aims to accelerate the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women through strategic partnerships, technical and political advisory services and advocacy with governmental, intergovernmental and civil society partners by focusing its interventions on the following strategic axes:
1) governance and participation in public life;

It describes the action plan of the UN Women country office for the years 2021-2025 and includes a results framework and an organizational effectiveness and efficiency framework with expected results and indicators.
It is firmly anchored in the 2030 Agenda, drawing on UN Women’s comparative advantage to address specific gaps that limit national capacity to implement gender equality commitments.
In accordance with UN Women’s programme management policies and procedures, the country office intends to conduct the final evaluation of this Strategic Note, which is valid until December
The report and recommendations from the final evaluation will guide the development, from July 2028, of a new strategic note for the period 2026-2030. [1] UN-Women-Strategic-Plan-2022-2028-brochure-en.pdf (unwomen.org) Duties and Responsibilities
